
The Camp is open from May to October, weather permitting. Visitors are either transferred by Camp management from Katherine or neighbouring Bulman airstrip. All touring is provided in camp vehicles, an OKA four-wheel drive tour vehicle and Toyota safari jeep, with local indigenous guides and camp hosts (French and English speaking).

Located in the heart of Arnhem Land, 310 km from Katherine, on the way to Nhulunbuy, Bodeidei Camp captures the magic of remote Aboriginal bush, and the comfort of a fully-equipped permanent camp. Nearby fresh water spring and shaded by eucalyptus trees, this cosy little camp blends with its surroundings. Airy hut-style units provide comfortable accommodation. The open-air design of these simple dwellings connects guests to the surrounding environment and allows visitors to enjoy the wonders of nights in the bush. The sanitary arrangements are specially adapted to the bush and are comfortable as well as environmentally friendly. Visitors feel secure and at ease, whilst enjoying the wilderness. The camp has fully-equipped kitchen and serves lovely dinners, shared in the large dining room tent, next to a barbecue and campfire area. The dining room is also has a library with a remarkable collection of artifacts, paintings and copies of media stories that have resulted from visits to the camp.
